Contribute your sounds

I had one of those moments the other day where an idea suddenly hits you and you can’t stop thinking about it. Up until now, I’ve been out there recording urban rain sounds and city ambience entirely on my own from my little corner of the world. But then I started thinking… what if members of the Urban Windows community recorded rain and street traffic sounds from their part of the world too?

The more I thought about it, the more excited I got. Imagine building a collection of authentic urban rain ambience and nighttime city sounds from cities and neighborhoods all around the world. Different streets. Different storms. Different atmospheres. A little sound of home shared with the community.

So with that idea in mind, I’m opening things up to subscribers who want to contribute audio recordings, rain ambience videos, or urban atmosphere content to the Urban Windows channel. I think it could be really cool to create something together and build a library of relaxing rain sounds and city ambience from all over the world.
