So I started a webpage
Welcome to the New Urban Windows Webpage
As the Urban Windows community continues to grow, I wanted to create a simple place on the internet where people who are really into urban ambiance sleep sounds could explore my content a little easier. urbanwindows.com was already taken so I pivoted to urbansleepsounds.com which I think fits perfectly with the channel i’m building. I mean it fits so well I may have to change the YouTube channel name but that’s a thought for another time.
For now, I’m keeping the website simple and focused on what matters most, helping people quickly find the relaxing sounds and nighttime atmosphere they want to listen to in order to fall asleep. The new Sleep Sounds page organizes all of my YouTube videos by category or sound type, making it easier to browse through the growing collection of urban rain ambience, thunderstorms, white noise, cozy apartment atmosphere, and long-form sleep videos.
Looking for thunderstorm sounds only? You can quickly filter out videos that don’t include thunderstorms and find the exact mood you’re looking for faster. Whether you want heavy rain, distant traffic, calming city ambience, or crickets on a hot summer night, the goal is to make the listening experience more easy to navigate.
Another feature I’m excited about is the new Urban Windows blog. While YouTube posts are great, having a blog opens the door to sharing more behind-the-scenes content, updates about the channel, creative inspiration, and even tutorials on how I create field recordings and immersive urban ambience videos.
Right now the website is simple, but as the Urban Windows community continues to grow, so do the possibilities for what this space could become in the future.
